Clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential

Clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) is a condition characterized by the clonal expansion of hematopoietic stem cells harboring somatic mutations, often in genes such as DNMT3A, TET2, or ASXL1. It is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, including cardiomyopathy and myocarditis, particularly in cancer patients.
