High-entropy alloys

High-entropy alloys (HEAs) are a class of metallic materials characterized by the simultaneous presence of five or more principal elements, each in a near-equimolar ratio. This unique composition leads to high configurational entropy, which stabilizes the solid solution phase and results in exceptional mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability.
