Gutenberg-Richter Law

A fundamental empirical relationship in seismology that describes the frequency-magnitude distribution of earthquakes. It states that the logarithm of the total number of events with magnitude greater or equal to M is proportional to M. / 地震学中描述地震频度-震级分布的基本经验关系。它指出,震级大于或等于M的地震总数对数与M成正比。
