Gas Lift

A method of artificial lift used in oil wells to increase the flow of hydrocarbons from a reservoir. It involves injecting gas (such as natural gas or CO2) into the wellbore to reduce the density of the fluid column, thereby increasing the pressure differential and lifting the fluid to the surface.
