Heterogeneous SAR–optical fusion

A methodological framework that integrates Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and optical imagery to generate land use and land cover (LULC) maps. This approach addresses the limitations of single-source data, such as cloud contamination in optical images and the inability of SAR to distinguish between certain surface materials, by fusing data from heterogeneous sensors.
